The Health and Safety of all our participants on investigations is very important, therefore please read through our Health and Safety policy before booking your investigation.
All participants will be in possession of a torch whilst attending overnight investigations. Also it is the participantâs responsibility to ensure their own safety, whilst on overnight vigils. We cannot be held responsible for any injuries caused due to low lighting situations. Also whilst attending investigations all participants must adhere to the property ownerâs own rules and regulations together with the rules set out by ourselves. Over 18âs ONLY are permitted on investigations.
Under NO circumstance is Drinking Alcohol or the use of Drugs permitted on investigations. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas. Again failure to comply will result in the participant being asked to leave the investigation and no further investigations will be offered.
2. Health Issues
It is in the participant's own interest to declare any medical condition that they may have and bring any medication that they are taking, along to the investigation. So, that our trained First-Aiders are prepared if in the event you should have any health issues during the investigation. Failure to do so may result in the delay of your treatment if required. We also advise that you bring with you a contact number in case of emergency.
3. Team Coordinators
When attending investigations, participants should stay within their allocated teams that they have been assigned to and follow the instructions of their Team Coordinator. The Team Coordinator is there for your safety and must be obeyed at all times. Failure to do so may result in you being escorted off the premises without refund and the possibility of no further investigations being offered.
Any participants who wish to set-up their own recording equipment may do so at their own risk but must take into consideration the Health and Safety of the other participants and property owners. Please consult one of our Team Coordinator who will assist you. We cannot be held responsible for any damage to your equipment if left unattended. All bags should be left together in the designated area, so that they are not lying around for investigation attendees to trip over.
REMEMBER If you get spooked or feel unwell please do not panic and run as it will be dark and you may become disorientated and hurt yourself. Please tell a Team Member and they will escort you to a safer place.
Always remember the exits. If the fire alarm sounds or there is an emergency, a Team Member or a Venue Trustee will escort you to safety.
